Process
This project was created for the client to give thanks to the female players of Biola's Basketball Team. As per of the client's request, it was to design and visualize them as a team of superheroes.
Goals
• Created original superhero costumes for each Biola's Women Basketball team members.
• Focused only on the theme adventure to assemble as heroes in a team.
• Designed and visualized the background setting that shows the meaning of adventure.
Inspiration
As an artist and illustrator, I love reading comics and watching superhero movies and televisions growing up. The costume designs were inspired by various superheroes that are inspired by cartoons, comics, and movies. The challenge was to attribute certain types of people with powers and which style of costumes would fit their looks. It took many concepts to decide which costumes were chosen before they become final in the animation.
• Integrated and utilize sequential movement from 3D models to actual drawings' character movements.
• Identified certain superpowers that the real team members wanted their characters to have.
Project Plan
The original plan was that the animation was due at the end of January 2020. Due to the short time table, scenes were reduced into a very shorter view only focusing on the Superhero team placing their hands together in a huddle It was a harder decision to work  up to final modeling, to create the final drawings of the animation. My client decided it was better to make the video shorter due to the time constraints.
Concept Progress

Skills Gained & Learned
• Learned how to animate and pose movements utilizing the 3D models on Clip Studio Paint.
• Achieved both the clients' and the team members' satisfaction. This resulted in the animation becoming a hit and has been reposted on social media.
• Client must pay attention to the timetable on the expectation of creating the animated video which resulted in becoming much shorter.
• Testbed prototype for future animation projects.
• Pick a due date that's realistic for both the client, the artist, and animation team. Important for both parties to know and understand the work timeline.
